love me if you dare.

the moon shyed away that night,
hear my broken heart run hard and fast.
its feet were to burn that aching chill,
yet you stranger turned up,
shining that orange torch on me.

you are whipped out of sugar and angel dust,
the blanket that keeps the cold away,
yet blinded, i did not see.
love me if you dare, i could never say,
i ran away.
